Interest representatives, which include organizations, associations, groups, and self-employed individuals that engage in activities to influence the Dutch national policy and decision-making process, should be required to register in a transparency register, even if this makes parliamentarians more reluctant to receive interest representatives.

Senior civil servants and politicians (ministers and elected representatives) are not allowed to work in the same sector in which they previously worked for the first two years after their term of office, even if this provable makes it more difficult to find qualified persons for these positions.
